Assuming you're talking loonies here...
A shopify plan is $38 CAD ($29 USD) if you pay for an entire year at once. The
first 3 months are $1 a month. Credit card rates are 2.9% + $0.30 CAD per
transaction, which is honestly cheap compared to other credit card processors.
Etsy is 3-4% plus their listing fees.
My wife has a shop on Shopify, and honestly the $30 USD a month we spend on it
is worth not having to deal with running and maintaining our own ecommerce site.
calculating, buying and printing shipping labels is comparable with other
shipping services (such as pirateship or stamps.com), and is incredibly easy.
They raised their prices about a year ago, and I had considered dumping them and
running something self-managed, but after looking at processing fees and the
work I'd have to put into it, I realized Shopify was still the better deal.
