I am a D&D nerd and I appreciated they included some D&D + Forgotten Realms
lore without making the game unpalatable for regular people. In fact, the
regular people I watched it with liked it. I think this achievement cannot be
overstated.
Cheap humor felt much less cheaper than it does with movies that target similara
udiences (Disney, I am looking at you).
I found it to be a fine movie if you take it for what it is: a silly fantasy
heist movie without any pretentions of being something else.
