My approch has been to use digital files (high quality mp3 or flac) and a good
stereo/speaker combo from the 70s. When the 80s came around and stereos went
all electronic, it took them awhile to regain quality of tube amps from the
60's and 70's. So yeah, my Dynaco is better than your Sansui from the 80s :).
