The reality is that I buy most of my routers at thrift shops for $5-$10
and throw OpenWRT or DD-WRT on them. The combination of an appliance
router and WRT firmware makes for a capable little router.
I have a Netgear R6400 and R8000 now, but I'm looking to get higher
speed internet service and want something with a little more processing
power to handle it.
