Interesting.. I didn't realize the industry was close to doing that.
I've bought some movies on blu-ray & DVD that have a code where you can redeem a
n online digital streaming version. I've noticed some of those let you download
the movie locally, but the ones I've redeemed seem to be DRM-protected and only
playable in the app it was downloaded with.
