I'm bummed that pretty much all the major messenger services have shut down (I t
hink ICQ still works, but it's not the same as it used to be). And I don't thin
k Facebook Messenger, Snapchat, etc. are quite the same.
Years ago, Microsoft merged MSN Messenger into Skype, and then all my MSN Messen
ger contacts disappeared (they didn't get migrated to my Skype contact list). I
was bummed about that.
