In the 1950's I remember seeing a picture in a Mechanix Illustrated
magazine of a tiny Drill Bit that employees at a General Electric plant
In the USA had made and iirc they sent it to a Watch Company in
Switzerland to show them what they accomplished.
Later the Swiss sent the Drill Bit back to G.E. with a hole they
drilled in it.
The picture in the magazine showed the bit with the hole in it.
Some things like that I haven't forgot.....yet. <grin>
