yeah i just quoted that a few msgs back.
I don't see what's the big deal with posting ansi.

an ansi ad should be seen how it was made, not stripped of color codes
or having the characters changed if a user's terminal doesn't support it.

that's your opinion, but  stripping colors and characters mutilates the advertis
ement.

true neutral encoding would just be straight low ascii

it's not blind. it's meant to be seen by people with ansi support and it's being
 sent in ansi.

a lof of these advertisements have artwork.  stripping colors and characters is 
shitting it up.
