Okay, yesteday I've tried something else. I tried to call a few BBSes with modem
speaker in "always on" mode. The odd thing was that when I tried to call a cert
ain system more than once in a row, the first connection was significantly longe
r than second or third one - I mean those that weren't ending with "BUSY" tone.
When trying a connection to CSD access number, the noise of exchanging data last
ed for a few seconds, however the distant modem kept disconnecting regardless of
giving logon data. Once I managed to get a message about authenticating, howeve
r the connection ended due to hanging up remote modem. Mine continued to send da
ta until dropping NO CARRIER message.
