I was really hoping that we could have had a trouble free and straight forward
election process. But alas... some just couldn't allow that to happen. What I
see that has happened isn't an attempt to corrupt an election. But more an
attempt to stir someone else's pot to see if they can get it to boil over. Ward
used Phil to to see if they could get him to cry foul and thereby cause him to
sidetrack the election process. It is up to us the election participants to
either allow that to happen, or work through it and complete the election
process.
In my mind several questions exist. Is Ward likely to intentionally subvert the
Z1 election process? I think not. I do think that he is not above acting in a
non destructive manner and then sit back and watch what happens. Phil in my
opinion reacted to what he perceived as an act of interference. Maybe
overreacted is a more accurate term. Did the evidence that he provided serve as
definitive proof that Nick acted with malice and foreknowledge to corrupt the
election. Sorry, but I just don't see it. I also see it as an error on Phil's
part to raise the concern at the point in the election when he did. Regardless
of the outcome it is very possible that votes could end up being different now
versus what they otherwise would have been.
Regardless of actual intent. Should Ward have stayed out of the Z1 election
process completely? Yes, he should have. Can we proceed with the election
process? I would like to think that we could and should. It is up to us to
actually make that happen.
