Got past this one its in lib/strutil.c needs test for Darwin.

Having done that it still fails so in the interim I replaced the error msg  with
setting the return to give Darwin but ..

Compiling it fails (have sent a msg to that effect I think), so need to look
into that and see if I can spot the obvious but so far cannot see it.
Does produce a far number of warning so might be a conflict with missing headers
etc.  Will need to reread the required libs etc and see if they are installed.

No it would not suprise me if they aren't - then it will be a case of finding
them in the brew system.
