Depends on how one would use Win7. I have Win7 Pro on three
pcs. No problems whatsoever. I just use the MS Security
Essentials on them. Infact, I was still getting rollup reminders
up until a few months ago. My "recent" Thinkpad T540p that I
acquired in Dec 2019 is waiting for me to acknowledge a few
rollups.
Maybe even a linux distro would be good for the Melkor's pc.
