Yeah, I don't really care about a desktop environment, beyonmd being able to
use it and do common operations - copy/paste, etc. Apps are always good to
have. I do tend to run a lot of command line stuff on Linux, and whip up the
occasional script. :)

I like to run cross platform as well - horses for courses. No Mac here,
unfortunately, but a healthy mix of Linux and Windows runs here. :)
