I've been using PCs for a long time (I started using IBM compatibles around the
late 90s, when DOS was big and Wnidows 3 was coming around). I like having cont
rol of my PC. It seems most people these days though don't care so much about h
aving total control; they just want to do stuff with it. Modern operating syste
ms are made in a way to prevent people from doing stupid stuff.
I does bother me, though, when the OS tries to prevent me from running a program
because it's not "authorized" by the OS or other restrictions.
