The card you are talkig about is compatible with PCI Express 2.0 X8. I think it
means it should work since PCIe versions are supposed to be intercompatible and
you can certainly fit a x 8 card in a x 16 slot.
Chances are your computer is using PCIe2 (which matches the card) but even if
it isn't, it should work. Just keep in mind that if the computer has a lower
grade PCie spec , the gpu will work faster than the computer bus and therefore
you will be wasting money.
