It does indeed. MBSE uses something similar, although not fully compatible. I
would have to look at how GoldED assigns MSGID serial numbers, so see how that
interacts with the ones that MBSE generates. In theory, it would be possible
for a message generated by MBSE to be assigned the same serial number as one
generated by GoldED if they were created at the same time (or within a second
of each other.)
