I think it's one of those devices that will find uses for itself. I have seen
the results from 3D printing - one of the guys at work uses his to create
models from TV sci-fi shows, and they are quite impressive. I personally would
like one for making cases for projects, as I can see the designs becoming
available for 3D printing. That would eliminate one of the bigger barriers to
home construction for me. :)
So a 3D printer is on my wish list, but not a priority item ATM. :)
