  Unfortunately, QuarterDeck Software (who did DESQView and QEMM) has
long since gone out of business...the same with TeleGraphix, who
pioneered RIP Graphics for BBS.

  Using DESQview was my "first experience with windows"...and it wasn't
the ones from Microsoft. <G> I remember all the memory optimization
deals with QEMM as well.

  As for rebooting, that was a nice deal, where I didn't have to worry
about the BBS developing "separation anxiety" if I went away. Most all
Sysops today have dealt with that at one time or another...as soon as
they leave for vacation, the BBS has crashed not 5 minutes later!!
