The Tesla model 3s are apparently available for order. An interesting car for
$35K, although one thing that irked me was that the web site shows a price that
includes "fuel savings" and "tax benefits".
That's not how cash works.
Getting a car for $50K with 2 engines gets you 4-wheel drive, and one benefit
I'd not thought of - a backup engine, since the car can run independently on
either engine.
Tesla is also closing down most of their showrooms. You'll order online, it
sounds like you pay $2500 down, then they deliver the car, and you get 7 days
and/or 1000 miles to test, and hopefully they come pick it up if you choose not
to keep it.
