no... their messages will travel with no problems and replies will come back...
netmail, on the other hand, may need to be host routed until the new node
appears in the nodelist and direct connection methods are publiched... when we
first joined not long before P4 was ratified, we didn't appear in the nodelist
for a few weeks... in Z2, it was well over 6 months before we appeared... we
were all over the echos getting and providing support and participating in
general...
