These AAA gaming experiences aren't all they're cracked up to be. I can't
get into Cyberpunk 2077. I've played for about 20 minutes, and I'll admit
it's gorgeous. It just feels too scripted and I can't put any more time into
it. Stray kept me interested for about an hour, but I can't figure out how
to get into the 4th Outsider House and am quickly losing interest. Steam
will show that I've played the Genesis emulator for about 20 hours... Fatal
Labrynth and Phantasy Star II kept me interested for days... I was able to
finish the former, and the latter I was able to keep playing for a while
before getting disinterested. I can't seem to find a game to keep my
interest for more than a few days. Is this me, or are there just no new
games worth playing? The older ones kept me in them 2 player co-op over and
over. Current games just don't do it any more... When I had my Genesis and
Playstation, I would stay up all night gaming... Maybe I'm just too old for
this cr*p now, I don't know. Ideas are welcome...
