Hi Daryl! ...It _is_ Daryl, right?! <gg>
BM> Um, Rez? I think I've always called you Ky.
DS> Just don't call him (of anyone else) late for dinner. <G>
Or at least provide a snack while waiting.
BM> Not another lip-sync scandal!
DS> Vanilla Ice?? Sounds like a milk shake. <G>
Close -- something like Milli Vanilli, which sounds like a tiny ice
cream!
BM> I like the 'neglect' part! Had some tomato plants here years ago; did well
BM> but was easier to be the grateful recipient to co-workers who
BM> brought in their crop - plus get a variety that way! Retired, so now
BM> now break room table of goodies to bring home. Various excuses and
BM> half-plans and nothing edible has been planted.
DS> I do all my gardening at Kroger. <G>
Sometimes easier and cheaper. ...Hmm: wonder how many kids have gone on
a school trip to a farm and wondered how come the tomatoes on the vine
don't have cellophane and a tray?
BM> Yes and no. I'm thinking more 'solar lights' just because more experience.
BM> Of course they generally have the cheapest battery to keep costs down and
BM> profits up but I had replaced a bunch after a few years with higher
BM> capacity (mA) batteries and better but still only so-so results. Those in
BM> the sun more did last longer (interesting way to see where the shade is at
BM> night!). Of course another part of the equation
BM> is the input: a 1" solar cell only generates so much electricity to
BM> charge the battery.
DS> I've got these small portable fans that I wear around my neck
DS> to help keep me cool. They run on 2 AA batteries.
(Visualizing Daryl walking around with fans hanging from his neck like a
rapper had medallions.)
One option might be to replace the AA batteries with rechargeable ones,
specifically those to be charged via USB. Off-hand no idea what the
cost is so no way to calculate the break-even point. I have some of the
D version to power LED lanterns during power failures -- can recharge
from cell phone power bank, a laptop, or a solar charger.
BM> <Fiddle-fiddle> Was set for the wrong country!
DS> Wasn't that a snack??
Fiddle Faddle was (maybe still is) a something like Cracker Jacks.
Every so often Hy-Vee (grocery store) will have a 3-pack on sale for $1
and I'l get one; prizes are quite the same!
BM> I also disliked if my Internet connect went down then I couldn't see my own
BM> cameras!
DS> When I had to reinstall Windows 10 to rebuild the registry, one
DS> of the things I lost was the Logitech Webcam driver. I have Skype
DS> installed, but I use it sparingly.
Seems should be able to go to the Logitech site to obtain another copy.
BM> Young in mind, the body's trying to keep up!
DS> Young at heart, but that's the only thing.
I left my heart
in San Franscisco
in the bucket.
Got a new one
from a deceased harpist.
Now I have to play a new tune
Zing Went the Strings of My (new) Heart!
BM> ... You were expecting still another smartaleck message here today?
DS> Of course.
I shall try not to disappoint!

... You are what you eat. I don't remember eating a huge disappointment.
