Jimmy,

JA> DS> The thing is, reading and replying via QWK Mail is so much easier,
JA> DS> than with the regular echoes. As the Apostle Paul noted "Let all things
JA> DS> be done decently, and in order". :)

JA>Oh I agree! There a little delay, sometimes, but that's okay too. This
JA>is still more 'traditional.' :-)

If weather (thunderstorms) is an issue, or the internet is out, there's a
delay in my processing messages. But, back to that verse, I am NOT going to
argue with lightning...being that I'm a 2 time lightning strike survivor.
However, I carry no electrical charge, and can be handled safely. :)

JA> DS> Unfortunately, no. Arkansas tends to get the brunt of its severe
JA> DS> weather after dark. At one time, Arkansas was ranked #1 in the nation in
JA> DS> killer tornadoes.

JA>I always assumed earlier since they hit you before they get to me...

Most storms move west to east, but sometimes, depending on the circulation of
the storm system (especially from the remnants of a landfalling hurricane along
the Gulf Coast), they move from east to west.

I'm reminded of the cartoon, where you see planet Earth, the Throne of
Almighty God, and this device (which looked like an oversize vacuum cleaner),
with The Lord noting "Call Me 'Mother Nature' one more time...". :P

I pray for His Protection from severe weather, having the faith that He heard
me, and then leave it in His Hands.

Daryl
