The fix(es) for this "problem" are:
1. Disable dupe checking in BBS Ads sub-boards.
2. Alter your Ad post slightly each time. I use a script to insert the
current date at the bottom of my Ad before it's posted. That way it's
seen as a different (non-dupe) message.

It means it will search 10000 messages to see if the current one matches
any of them and is therefore a dupe. Doesn't make any sense to have
that set like that if you only keep 1000 messages. Make them match. I suggest
5000 for both.
... Pros are those who do their jobs well, even when they don't feel like it.
