It isn't that they were parked in the driveway.  It was that, in his
official capacity, a government official (the highest one) was hawking them.

I have worked in government and know that is an ethics violation/conflict
of interest.

I am not opposed to the concept, but the way he is doing it is stupid.
Many things they supposedly "cut" have had to be put back in place because
what they did was illegal, and most of the employees they fired are
back, with back-pay for time not worked, because they illegally fired them
and now it will be more difficult to get rid of any of the ones that
actually deserved firing.

For someone who is supposed to be working on efficiency, he is doing things
in the most inefficient (read costly) way possible.

That is what I don't like about them also.  If I needed a second car, and
they were cheap enough, I would consider one for "around town" driving.  I would
not take it on most of the vacations I go on as they usually involve
the road less traveled.
