What do you mean by "when I telnet in"? You're not supposed to telnet to the
MRC service. You run the MRC client as a module/door on your BBS which the BBS
user then interacts with. Unless the user happens to be connected to the BBS
terminal server using Telnet, there's no Telnet protocol involved.
