Bill,
The default for VA's Inbound FIDONet mail directory is C:\VA\FIDOMAIL\IN0 --
that always worked for my setup. This is where you direct Internet Rex to put
inbound mail...and for your mailer to look for inbound packets...in VA's case,
it's VFIDO with the /R option.
I'm afraid if you change it to something else, you won't be able to process
any FIDONet netmail or echomail. Now, while I have VADV32 up for the VADV-PHP
website interface, I have CHANGED the port to a different one, and have
disabled that port in the router. So, that while the statistics are updated,
the only message areas one can read from the website (with VADV-PHP) are those
in message board 1 (the local areas), whether they logon via the website or
not. That is to prevent duplicates of Echomail.
Since I'm now running GT Power on the telnet side, I'm using 2 sets of
tossers...InterEcho, then FIDOGate. So far, the echomail areas are tossing
back and forth. I also sent you a message in the VQNet Sysops area, but have
yet to see a reply. I did poll your system successfully last night, but there
was no connect for it this morning.
