Hi Daryl!

DS> And, I worked at Burger King for 5 years 40 years ago. At least
DS> it wasn't at Borg Burgers -- "We do it OUR WAY...your way is
 DS> irrelevant".
BM> Though sometimes it seems that one went there: "I ordered without
 BM> pickles and got them!".
DS> Been there, done that, got the ketchup and mustard stain. :P

They need to offer a bib as a side order!

DS> I used to not like them, but I especially like the dills. There
DS> used to be a steakhouse called Western Sizzlin' (there may still
DS> be one in the north central Arkansas community of Clinton (I
DS> doubt it's related to Bill and Hillary <G>), where I would order
DS> an extra plate of their pickles, as they had such a good flavor.
DS> Now, I can eat dill pickle potato chips, and ice cream
DS> sandwiches...and let folks wonder about me. <G>

You're pregnant?! As far as the plate of pickles, I'm not sure I'd go
that far but I have taken a few extra pickle slices as a side: have some
on the sandwich and some just by themselves. I don't know about that
dill pickle potato chip and ice cream combo but guessing along the lines
of sweet and sour. And the city of Clinton (IA) upriver from here is
named after the governor of New York; guessing the county too.

BM> Yes - heard that on the news yesterday (Novemeber 9) - sad but not
BM> unexpected. During the obituary clip (life in review) there was
BM> mention of no replacement had been announced though a video clip did
BM> show him saying he would like a female as a replacement. I can't think
BM> of a woman to fit his spot but thinking Ken Jennings might be somewhat
BM> groomed: already part of the Clue Crew, though haven't seen him too
BM> often. Is a very popular contestant, has some hosting experience with
BM> his podcast and probably some other events. I'm thinking he would be a
 BM> good transitional person.
DS> I thought of Ken Jennings as well...and I agree with your point
 DS> about a transitional person.

Guess we'll see. Nothing has been announced, or at least that I've
seen; hasn't even been a week. No real rush as they have said the
tapings are through Christmas Eve Day. Seems odd close to two months
out but thinking about it does make sense: allows for things like the
expeditions to the Galapagos Islands, on-sight clue tapings, work
vacations, etc.

DS> Just don't get between the dog and the fire hydrant. :P
 BM> Nor too close!
DS> The other day, a dog peed on me...a bad sign. :P

I didn't think you were that short a dog would mistake you for a fire hydrant!!

DS> ospreys up on his tower, and he couldn't do any work on it until
DS> the winter, after they flew south, as it were. Birds or insects
DS> will attack you repeatedly, if they feel threatened.
BM> So will little ol' ladies with purses!
DS> Just ask Arte Johnson with Ruth Buzzi from Laugh-In. <G>

Uh-huh! :) Another show that wouldn't make it now.
