I wasn't talking about you; I had written this in reply to someone else.

I'm not talking about things that are common knowlege.  I've often seen people p
ost things regarding information that isn't well known, and then offer nothing t
o back it up, which is why people ask for a source.

Or, alternately, people mention something as an argument to something else, but 
the information seems dubious, yet they don't provide a source.
