DW> Trump is not always perfect in what he says for sure but it would be nice
DW> if the press didn't misquote, or fail to fully quote, our Presidents and
DW> Presidential candidates. Let us hear/read all they said and then let us
DW> decide if we like it or not. Instead the press try to lead us to a
DW> decision they want.
DW> Some of the same things are happening with Harris. The other day FOX
DW> News posted something to YT that was about another "Harris word salad." It
DW> was pretty obviously heavily edited and, despite that (and despite
DW> the fact that I didn't agree with her!), her words were not nonsense as FOX
DW> News would want us to believe.
Both Fox and CNN are bullshit. We don't have a Walter Cronkite (The most trusted
man in America) anymore; a 'politcally neutral reporter'.. until 1968 when he
made his views on the Vietnam War known, he was a stallward in reporting... -
nor do we have a Howard K. Smith, David Brinkley or even Eric Sevareid. Only
until their latter years did these reporters show their affiliations - these are
reporters that we would all benefit from today in 2024; but it won't happen.
DW> There are sure some members of the press, and a lot of voters, who aren't
DW> so much leaning towards Harris (and Biden before her) as they are away from
DW> Trump.
I hope we all vote, Dumas - I'm certainly going to.
(I'm in Oregon - so.. please, YOU VOTE. :P)
