i think he's asking about going the other way around... when viewing the nodes' 
configuration screens, bring something up to be able to select the areas they
are connected to instead of having to go to each area and add the node... then
press enter or space on each echo area to add the node to them...

i think the idea is something like node x:y/z signs up for your services and
they want areas a,b,c,d,e,f,g so when you add that node into your config, you
bring up the echos list and just tag them to add the node to them... maybe even 
allow adding by groups in this same way... by that i mean adding them to a
group of echos like "group b: fidonet backbone areas" which would contain like
180 or so areas at this time... makes for a real quick way to add them to 180
areas instead of having to visit each of those 180 areas and add the node that
way...
