Hi Daryl!
BM> Mine has an option to turn off not-in-use apps: leaves them up if the
BM> user has them going but after a period of time doesn't update them.
BM> Good for e-mail, not so good to turn off weather alerts! (Can pick and
BM> choose: go through the list.)
DS> I have those set with the FEMA app.
Leave that one active!
DS> I was wrong, but I was mistaken.
BM> That's right!
DS> Sounds like politicians...never believe anything until
DS> officially denied.
BM> And then the next commercial will deny the denying!
DS> To them, denial is de river in Egypt...but then Egypt is what
DS> he did to his constituents (he gypped). :P
According to the commercials it ends up none of the people running for
office are any good.
DS> Like the deal with the warning labels...such as "Cape does not
DS> permit user to fly".
BM> Sure it does: "I'm flying! I'm flying! <thud!>".
DS> <looking in phone book for attorneys>
I'd be looking up the number for 9-1-1 first!
BM> Too bad you weren't in a German community: 'Rathaus' is 'city hall'.
DS> According to the Chinese Zodiac, I was born under the sign of
DS> the RAT. And, I use a ham radio digital mode called D-Rats. But,
DS> I didn't want them moving in.
Maybe they just got confused!
DS> got so cramped by sitting so long. My legs basically turned to
DS> water when I tried to stand up, then my pants fell down. Had I
DS> not had Depends on, it would have been "full moon rising". :P
BM> So I see!
DS> I can't understand how these idiots have to walk with their
DS> saggy pants. Even if they knew what it meant, they likely
DS> wouldn't care.
I suppose it's a 'fashion statement'.
BM> A.k.a. 'sliders'. Haven't had those either - probably good, but a
BM> hors d'oeuvres hamburger?
DS> Basically, a quick snack. Lately, I've scarfed cans of beanie
DS> weenies, as I needed something to take some medicine with before
DS> bedtime. I also bought some strawberry cheesecake donuts.
Hmmm, your way sounds more fun; I 'chase' my bedtime med with a calcium
supplement.
BM> Having some food in the house for weather emergencies makes sense --
BM> even if just raining and don't want to go out and get wet.
DS> Especially considering how folks drive around here.
They're just trying to avoid the raindrops!
