I can't speak for MRO, but my view is this:
I am fine if somebody shows up believing the moon is made of cheese and trying t
o argue why it is so. However, when that person finds his opinion is unpopular a
nd runs to the administration in order to erradicate unbelievers, he is making c
lear he should be in a policed echo chamber in which only certain opinions are a
llowed.
I think suggesting such a person to go somewhere where cheese-moon theories are
enforced is better for every party involved at that point.
