Ubuntu works, poorly. It's a bit bloated and you're forced into using quite a
few things. It's the Linux version of OSX.
Performance on older hardware can be problematic, and there are far better distr
os out there that don't suck up precious memory and/or CPU cycles that are neede
d elsewhere.
