Gr> I went to one of these this weekend near my house. It was a great time.

Gr> Basically, you have two single action pistols, a shotgun and a rifle.
Gr> You also need to dress and have weapons time period appropriate. There
Gr> was about 30 people there. I got to do a stage and my wife also. It was
Gr> a blast!
Gr> Now I need to sell stuff and get firearms and accoutrements, because I

We> Careful! That cowboy action shooting racket is a gateway drug to
We> handloading, cosplay and all sorts of stuff!
Yep. That rabbit hole is starting to look enticing.
We> My brother in law was heavy into cowboy action shooting. He just about

We> Cowboy shooting will lead to hand loading. These guys load so low it's
We> not even funny. Basically a hair above primer. As long as the load
We> leaves the barrel and makes a "ding" sound on the target, it's good
We> enough. Makes sense. As many rounds as is shot during a weekend of

I've looked at them too. Just another $400 dollars for the loader. Then buying
primers, powder, and lead. oof.
We> Then you'll be spending money on "authentic" Western garb in order to
We> look the part of the western gunslinger....
I live in rural Texas. We dress like that naturally. LOL.
We> Hell, now you have ME wanting to go out and play cowboy!
Maybe I'll see you out there!
Will
