A friend of mine's son got into that for a while when he was in school.
He was competing in skeet, either through the school or maybe 4-H. I never
thought to ask why he stopped (he was pretty good at it) but I suspect it
was the cost.
I checked the cost of some of the shotguns they were using and they were
indeed not cheap!
