Thanks, but I only use KUbuntu so a DEB or a PPA with DEB's is all I can use... 
I am not even going down the road of horrors of compiling... unless some one
has a foolproof one for 14.04....and I do mean foolproof. I've spent way too
many times on stuff to compile and it never works.
