Howdy from Vancouver, Canada!

Anyone here remember me from way back when I was the moderator?

Then I was challenged by someone else & we had a campaign * elerction -- I won
by only 3 votes, but we had already promised the echo's participants that the
loser would be co-mod, so they get us both either way.

It was an exciting campaign!

Anything interesting going on in here?

I've long been gone, sadly, but have recently discovered a local telnet
connection on an ancient local BBS (operating steadily since the '80s)

I have a point, but got to get my software configured still, or to get QWK mail
working for me. . .

I'm now only owner/moderator of the FUNNY Jokes and Stories PG-13 echo. Come
on by, swap some funnies. . . All are welcome; add itto your BBS, & let's ghet
as much of Fido buzzing as we can!

I've got quite bored of the original LORD - I discovered it on a DOS BBS that
had version 2.1, & later found version 1.5 (it's on my other computer -- the
IBM DOS Box that's offline *sigh*)-

I'm more into LORD2 now, as it can be fun even if only one other player (as is
the case on most boards I play it on)

LORD1 is boring to me without a large vibrant & diverse community who like to
drop out of reality for a few hours a week & become a warrior, or Mage, or
Thief (that's me for the strong power move early on, then when I'm maxed, I go
Magic, for the Shield)

Know any vibrant diverse communities of LORD1 players/games available via
telnet?

Or interested in a LORD2 game with just enough IGMs to add to the fun & not
ruin it. . ? if so, telnet into the board that's noted below & send a note to
either of us, asking for startup help.

Or just head up behind the fireplace in Jack's Restaurant for a prize of one
million gold.

Ask the sysclopoius player for the ecxact IGM whereyou can buytop wep & armour,
or ask either one of us to donate to you the $20K ones -- unless you want to
work your way up the long way, just for fun, then let us know to not send you
anything. (that's how I did it, now I'm well equipped, including 10,000 charm
to aid flirting in the various IGMs that have it)

Unlimited quests(deliveries) each day & over 20K moves per day. The higher your
quest points go, the more you get paid for each delivery.

Check the weather in Little Rock Arkansas,USA: if it's bad/stormy, the BBS will
likely be down for a day or two.

If you're Christian, the BBS was originally set up as such, but there's no
obligation to be one nor to participate in Christian activities on there.

Good thing; I don't put up with being forced. . .

The sysop, Daryl Stout, is happy to discuss Christian topics any time, on the
BBS, in the local email &/or local chat forum, but only if you're likewise
interested to. His BBS has been up for at least 30 years, too, like my origin
BBS (below)

Say hey & tell me what you like best about the world of LORD &/or LORD2.
