I just discovered it accidentally. Basically it's a ruby but it compiles to
native exe, with statically linked libraries built into executable, thus exe is
big but relies only on clean system install, no runtime libs required.
I found a lot of interesting projects coded in Crystal, but all of them hobby
projects and open source. Have you heard about the platform? ANy commercial
experience with it?

... Xerox Alto was the thing. Anything after we use is just a copy.
