of the world around them would normally go unnoticed in their mostly
inconsequential lives. But the judicial system singled them out on
the basis of their outstanding mediocrity and thrust them into a
limelight they could barely comprehend. Each one of them refused
to believe the evidence of their senses, and chose rather to believe
the absolutely ridiculous arguments of the attorneys representing
racist cops of the LAPD.
