As was mentioned, that's what the LTS versions are for... (I do hope that's
what's being used for that monitoring system...? <g>)
I have my main development system running on Ubuntu v14.04 ('precise') but
I'll admit that most everything else (servers and containers) is on Debian,
mostly 'Jessie' except for some test systems.
